We offer a full range of services to our clients, starting with:
Evaluating Potential Sites or Home Purchases: We frequently assist clients at the earliest stages of a project by evaluating lots or properties before purchase. Sometimes that means walking a hillside lot with a client to determine if the land will support the home they want, or it may mean crawling underneath a “fixer” to see how much work really needs to be done.
Preliminary Design and Budgeting: We take design and budgeting seriously. We develop both hand in hand.
Permit and Bid Documents: These documents include a thorough set of construction drawings (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.) that will be used to obtain building permits and construction bids. It will also include a written outline scope of work and specifications. Once the construction documents are complete, we review them with the client. Once approved by the client, the project is submitted for building permits and issued for bidding.
Construction Administration: This works begins at the start of construction and ends at the completion of the project. During construction, we make site visits to review the progress of the project and its conformance with the design drawings, and we answer questions the client or the contractor may have. We also review invoices and any change orders from the contractor if requested.
